Don't think it's been mentioned yet, so it's interesting to see two Black Fives through Wrexham on Saturday 25 November, both with RTC runs.

Only one Black Five, as it looks, by observation on the Bolton-le-Sands Railcam, like 46115 has just set off from Carnforth for Chester.

If that's the case, that means every Carnforth loco except for Tangmere will have been in a London terminus at least once this year.

46115 departing Salop this morning holding the 10 minute late departure it made from Chester.
Interesting to see the sanders active ....by the time the rear of the train was drawing near the clag starting to rise from the rear also suggested they were keen to climb the bank out of town as swiftly as possible.

'tis a shame they weren't a further 10 minutes down really, 'cos by then the rising sun skipping across the clouds really brought them alive.

Top & Tail fully activated, though to be expected given the late running.

Passing Cholsey, with only 46115 powering as far as I could tell, also only seven down after much later running earlier. With a track circuit failure near Slough and a power failure at Reading, it was another bad day on the GWML. By way of steam contrast at Cholsey, the C&W's Sentinel 0-4-0 powered a 'Santa Special' run to Wallingford.

44871 powering 'The Christmas Chesterman' approaching Caerleon, not long after restarting from Maindee North Junction in Newport.

Lovely lighting in the frost. The 47 seemed to be doing the bulk of the work.

I understand 46115 was left at Southall on Saturday to use on other tours, does anyone know what tours these are due to be? Thanks

No times available yet for Saturday's York-Edinburgh Christmas Market. Anybody have any idea what's happening?

JR result not till January. So presumably there will be a further exemption for say three months to give all parties time to digest the ruling and decide what comes next.

On your other post, do you (or anyone) know what the position is re delay minutes for charters? Are they still capped at 5k per train? And does that apply in both directions (receipts and payments)?
