Severn Valley Railway Autumn Steam Gala 14th-17th September 2023

Tonight we held our Steam Gala Committee meeting to debrief on the Autumn event and look at where we can improve and build on.

Feedback from the visitor surveys was overall healthy. Many positives to take forward and a good understanding of what people enjoy.

The room generally agreed that the extent of the delay was unacceptable and we have come up with a good number of solutions to fix the problems. Other elements were raised that needed some fixing/altering and these are to be worked on as well.

Spring 2024 is looking very exciting. Plans are to use the same Thursday timetbale as Autumn by the looks of things, and then ammend the Spring 23 table to suit the guests/home engines available.
