But 4079 supposedly at Churnet Valley for the whole of May ….

 

As 2999 isn't mentioned on the page, is that a possibly what was meant?

 

Depends how long its stay at EOR is, it's meant to be there for the gala a couple of weeks earlier.

 

LYR 752 is visiting from the East Lancashire Railway the week previously for the 1940s event. I wonder if it will remain for this event.


As for 4079, I'm starting to wonder whether that was a mistake and it was copied and pasted detail from last year's Steam Gala event. OR it'll be going to Churnet Valley immediately after the event.

 

4079 is contracted to be with us at the Churnet Valley Railway for the whole of May so it must be a typo!

Be silly if it doesn't, it's certainly a crowd puller.

 

I have recently emailed Didcot, they said 51456 will be running at this event.
Got a choice [again] between the Bluebell and this, I hate making decisions.

 

I, if I was able to go, would choose Didcot. But, I have to say I am biased and Didcot would be far easier to get to.

 

DRC have confirmed on Facebook, that 51456 will be visiting on 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12 May
