Either way, 75014 has been used regularly at Paington. Early last year it went on loan to the GWSR so I suspect the P&D have decided they don't need it until the Summer so why not loan it out?

 

Work has paused on the 8F whilst the overhaul of S160, 3278 is completed.

We have some mechanical work to do on 5197 once 3278 is completed, we will then hopefully get back onto the 8F.

 

Is the TKH now out of ticket?

75014 Returns To Staffordshire - Churnet Valley Railway

 

I think what you mean is 'relatively flat'. Froghall to Leekbrook is uphill all the way, albeit with a few short level bits.

 

S160 6046 is the rostered loco for this weekend, it will be doing 2 trips per day up to Ipstones Loop

 

Standard 4 No. 75014 "Braveheart" will be operating our services this weekend, 2 trains a day up our 4 mile 1 in 45 bank to Ipstones!

 

Following the very successful gala weekend, 4079 "Pendennis Castle" will be working our service trains this weekend and throughout May.
