    Believe there's a few left:

The Polish 0-8-0 Tank - That thing is a proper beast, very loud. Pity though that although it's electric lights do apparently work they don't seem to get used it always runs with a BR white lamp. Pity because that kinda gives it a bit of a different look & surely their bright enough to be used?

Also think there is a belgian loco in wansford yard that supposedly there are plans to get running?

There's still a few, the Polish 0-8-0T and the Danish F class to name two that are in service.

There's 5485, the Polish tank and 656, the Danish 0-6-0T tank which has just come back into service. 1178, a Swedish 2-6-4T was being overhauled but I believe it has cracked frames and needs a lot of money spent on it. 101, the blue Swedish 4-6-0 B class next to the car is meant to be going in the works after 73050 is finished in a few years times.

Most were privately owned and the individuals concerned just didn’t have the wherewithal to overhaul them when the time came so they cut their losses and sold them.

Of the top of my head, at various times there were:
    Swedish SJ S1 1928
Danish S class 740 (only very briefly ran I believe)
    German 64 64.305
German 80 class (though this never ran)
    German Kreiglok
    Swedish Y7 railcar 1212

All, other than the DB 64 were privately
Owned and moved on when overhauls were due.

The exception to the rule was the Y7, which not only returned, but a trailer car was imported from up near the artic circle on Sweden to join her.

    Still on site are:
    Danish F 656
    Polish tank
    SJ B class 101
    SJ 1178
    Belgian cocktail tram
And a Danish E class Pacific 996 at Railworld.

When I finally win the lottery, 996 will be getting fast track overhaul and be put to good use!:Resistanceisfutile:[IMG]

That Cocktail tram sounds interesting. Make mine a Pina Colada please.

I'll be doing the same with the E class! 5 DSB coaches behind it should look quite nice.

And just coming back to the present reality, I know there was some surprise and comment about the cost of the Tornado driver experiences.

However the first day is completely sold out, and the second day only has 4 of the 10 spaces remaining, after a week on sale.

The market for higher end experiences is obviously still pretty strong apparently!

I imagine she'll be a bit wasted on 5 DSB coaches to be honest. If it's a Euromillions win, I think a few imported Wagons Lits and DSBs would be a suitable investment!

Sorry to be pedantic but should that be Y6?

There are two Y7s in existence already, and they are 0-4-0Ts.

Had the co-owners not passed away, the project would almost certainly have been completed some years ago. A shame that it’s not been completed in their memory.

SJ (Statens Järnvägar - Swedish State Railways) Y7 railcar no. 1212. Sometimes runs with a trailer car as well that was imported from Sweden a few years ago.
