    I have always been impressed that the GCR seem to hang on to visitors for another weekend and use them, which is good for those who could not make the gala or do not want the crowds.
    Unfortunately having a wife who had two stents fitted in her heart last Friday prevents me even giving it a second thought this year.

    Thanks for posting Johann, it does show what a super gala this was. The brilliant weather helped, but the variety of transport was amazing, the two visiting steam locomotives, two railcars and three different freight rakes (Mixed, Tanks and Vans). Well done the GCR.
