    Thanks,
Initially some thought it might have been the Fantastic Creatures film. https://locoyard.com/2016/02/06/the-new-hogwarts-express/ (which I found on a search.

However the Wonder Woman film was good, and captured the 40s era well with (limited) train shots and No. 592, which was made just outside the Victorian era by a year (1902), but lasted several decades and awaiting overhaul, whereas SER No. 65 is from the era (1896).

It would be nice but not sure the Swanage Railway has any 'spare' funding to pay the £3,000 (?) road haulage costs - unless you're offering to sponsor those expenses of course!;)

The costs of road haulage is expensive, in a way sad it's not cost effective or possible to move steam locos and carriages in convoy over the rail network, like the Swanage Railway did for the diesel gala with the diesel locos?.

I seem to remember seeing a photo of the Bluebell Victorian Metropolitan carriages pass though Clapham junction?

No. 1520 has Mansell wooden centred wheels. When all the carriages went to the filming of "WonderWoman", they were taken by rail to Kings Cross - however, the vehicle acceptance body signing off the move didn't give permission for the birdcage brake 3363, which also has Mansell wheels. It seems vintage carriages (unoccupied) on the mainline are fine if you are prepared to pay (nearly all of the Bluebell's pre-nationalisation fleet has moved by rail on the mainline at some point in the last decade: I think 17 separate vehicles ranging from Victorian 4 wheelers to Bulleids), but no-one in over fifty years has any experience of Mansell wheels to sign off that move. So the exceptions are, and are likely to remain, 1520 and 3363.

I don't think there is any inherent reason why 1520 shouldn't go to Swanage by road for operation, but I suspect suitable under cover storage for when it is not in use would be the current sticking point - certainly for any protracted hire.

Not that well, as it was set during the 1st world war… ;)

    Thanks Tom for detailed reply
Thanks for correction about Wonder Woman film era being the 1st world war, they got the Southern Railway lettering wrong (5 years too soon), but otherwise looked good.

For info Eddystone now faces Norden again. A fact that despite having driven past the shed once and walked past 3 times this week (even taking a photo each time) did not register with me until the early hours of this morning.
    Guess it proves two things
    1) You see what you expect to see and it usually faces that way
    2) My wife is correct (although I would not let her know) when she says "You are so (insert expletive) unobservant".

Makes me even more unobservant than I thought as I took pictures of the track work being undertaken from the bridge over the last couple of weeks.

My missus has always said Cara Delavigne could show up not wearing much in front of a Class 37 and I’d be far more observant of the EE Type 3…

She does have a point, she once had to put up with a discussion with myself and my friends discussing about batches of 37’s and their allocation history in East Anglia… :)

Swanage social media says that it should be 563.

I see the diesel driver experience which seems to have had three more days added since I looked last are all sold out. Not sure if it originally said it is the rake of Dogfish wagons, or I just missed it originally (likely if I fail to notice a loco being turned).

That’s right, 33111 and the repainted Dogfish wagons.

Glanced at the new fares on the poster outside the station the other day. Email today from the railway made me study them more.
Round trip now £20 11% increase
Freedom of Line £27.50 10% increase
Annual Pass £149 which I think is a 36% increase (£109 previously?). I guess that must say it was too popular last year. Less though than 8 round trips or 6 days of all line tickets, so still great value.

Annual pass was £99 which included Wareham, so more for less
