It has been quoted elsewhere 90 days of no use before any consideration could be made. No idea if correct but similar to airport slot rules.
Of course depending on how non use is defined, that could just be LE or ECS.
I assume though TY has to apply for the WR slots, however are the Shakespeare slots OAO?

 

Well thats thrown a spanner in my thoughts, so what does fit on the mallaig road, would a rebuilt west country? as in the exchanges one did perform quite well.

Indeed, the smallest/shortest ones we ever had ( Clans) were not.

 

They may be doing it now. 10A have always been secretive when it comes to their operation

 

B1 would be amazing. Mayflower and a rake of Blood and Custards would get my money

 

I mean they could just be doing route learning? Or a private train for Jezza. Nothing actually says they are going to run a Jacobite style service.
Surely they’d need a mini-Saphos set anyway. And they’d face the same issue with diesel on the back

 

Apparently it is being used as Route Refresher, but accepting walk on fares on the day.

 

Can’t argue with that. Just a shame it’s not a B1 on Blood and Custards

Why run route refreshers though, unless you're planning to operate on the route, I would think, that with West coast having issues, that might open the way to LSL using some of the now spare paths to operate some tours, to more Scottish designations, even if it was by the blue pullman, and a very limited number of steam hauled tours, as they might not have enough coaches to operate several tours, if they have a steam dreams program to operate, unless there are other coaches soon to become available to use,

 

They do run over there with the Pullman.

 

Plus apart from the Pullman Mr H may want a trip up there. Bubble Cra went last year did it not?

 

I'm tickled by "Planned for 75mph max" between Fort William and Mallaig.

LSL did announce earlier this year they plan to run more trips to Mallaig with the 2nd Blue Pullman set. Makes sense to do crew training ahead of launching more trains in the summer.
