Thats certainly a very impressive looking engine, are there any plans to stage a new builds gala at some point, with 2999, the grange, and Tornado?

But Beachy Head isn't a new build. It's got the original regulator handle! :)

Some more Atlantic action on test (plus bonus bits of 34059).

    Not my video.

Some nice features in the new Trackside magazine covering some of the loco's first runs with a lot of really nice photos.

Looks like the loco is out on a loaded test today. (Wealden Rambler set, so not the full load, which presumably comes later). Nice wet rails too ...

Someone has posted a video on YouTube of 32424 with the Wealden Rambler set from one of the fields outside Horsted Keynes station.

More testing shots (interspersed with 34059 on service trains). Again - not my video.

There's a couple of YouTube shorts appearing too. One by Chris Eden-Green (of Steam Locos In Profile fame) of the loco heading North from Horsted with the 2 Mets and the LNWR Obo and another from someone else of the loco solo at Sheffield Park.

That looks just peng. Are the crews finding any foibles in handling? I remember reading Henry Oakley was quite shy footed when it spent a few years at the KWVR which it absolutely wasnt designed for.
