The LSWR T3 is ready to depart from Swanage at 10:00. It will be hauling 5 mk.1s.

D6515 is sat in the bay platform and so I presume this will haul the 12:00. <BJ>

    2 questions, if I may?
What is the headboard 563 is carrying?
On the Station webcam, the running dummy outside the box has been blacked out. Why?

    Headboard is "Bachmann"
I asked the webcam question on here a couple of months back but there was not a reply. Seems strange as the points show where something is going.

Risked a walk down to Dickers for the first time since Bulleid II for the 10:00. Although the risk for me is the walk back.

And parallel running Swanage style. DSC_0953r.jpg DSC_0958r.jpg

Lovely photo at Dickers, and an interesting one at Swanage. I was watching the webcams a short while ago as 563 left Corfe Castle, as D6515 arrived at Swanage, followed in, almost with parallel running, by the brake van with diesel shunter.

A busy day on the Swanage Railway!

The headboard is for Bachmann, as the Bachmann Collectors Club had one of their Members Day's at Swanage today. As part of that, it was announced that EFE Rail will be manufacturing a OO gauge model LSWR T3, hence the use of the engine this weekend.

T3 sat in the Bay platform and for some reason not doing the 15.20 round trip? Is this because of the very damp rail or something else does anyone know??

Minor injector problem. I understand it's now resolved and good to go.

I've just seen the T3 News - now I get it! Lamps look good don't they. (I've got our 4 safely in my garage.)

The T3 departs Swanage on the last service of the day past the "new look" (at least on one side) Manston. Not sure if that is the result of a cleaning crew or the ridiculous amount of rain this weekend. DSC_0987r.jpg

No, the front looks too clean as well. A bit sad, but I suppose all good things have to come to an end.

That's a terrible shame. It was as if it was a glimpse back to the 1950s and 60s. <BJ>
