Good to speak to you at Cockwood Harbour this evening (I was stood next to you). I'm glad that your shots were worth the long drive from Manchester. Thankfully, my video is also very pleasing. [BJ]

To my left or my right? Haha! Either way, great to meet you! It was a really good atmosphere today, I think people just delighted to see this train run. I hope your footage appears on here!

Very pleased to say VT have delivered exactly what was promised and the three of us have had an absolutely splendid day. Saying thank you to everyone who has had a hand in making it so - does not really feel like doing it justice.
I’m sure the number of people who have spent time and energy in planning and ensuring the day has gone as expected is many but without being able to name you all this is all we can say.
So a massive heartfelt Thank you to every single one of you who has played a part; directly or indirectly in delivering such a smooth and fantastic day.

I thought so but would've been rude to assume. Haha. Really good to meet you and have a natter whilst awaiting the train. What a sight they were. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's stuff. For those on board I bet it was a great day out.

Here's my video, taken at Powderham (very windy), Hemerdon ( a short clip taken by my wife on her phone), Newton Abbot and Tiverton Parkway.

Someone with access to the STN might be able to help with this.

It's a sign of the times when two GWR locos don't fit any more on GWR metals. So apart from Bristol  I think that the charter was speed restricted each way through Taunton.

Is that correct and were there any other locations?

On the return it was normal speed through Bridgwater but 50mph through Yatton. [BJ]

Presumably Dawlish as they stopped accelerating at Dawlish Warren despite the line speeding increasing at Langstone Rock.

There were little over three pages of restrictions throughout the operation (so including the LE moves). Sign of the times, but there’s still a place for GW steam!

Absolutely brilliant tour yesterday, a highlight of the year for me. Faultless performance from the Castles throughout. Also, much appreciated for Michael to walk through the train, stop at each table, introduce himself and ask if everyone was happy. Great customer service there.
Here's my photographic contribution for the day - the two Castles shortly after arriving at Plymouth, with that monstrosity of a building in the background.

Here's my footage of the Two Castles making light work of the South Devon Banks filmed up Whiteball, Rattery and Hemerdon. Both Castles were amazing up the Devon Banks yesterday and full credit goes to Vintage Trains, the support crew and the train crews on both Castles for putting in an incredible show, hope for more runs like this in the future. I hope you enjoy the video.
