67021 took four Pullmans to Eastleigh this morning, so I assume it's that returning light engine.

Just a heads up that 60007 is out for a wander on 30th January 2025, with its new coat of paint.

Yesterday I picked up a Wrenn "Peregrine" for my collection, which reminded me how good that austere wartime black livery looked on an A4. I'm meeting a couple of members of the SNGLPT tomorrow; I shall wave my acquisition under their noses and say "see, you should have done it in this colour!"

Still, can't grumble really - always good to see an A4 out and about, whatever the livery. Especially as there's now just one :(

I'm still surprised that I wasn't aware of my namesake hitting 125mph down Stoke Bank until a few days ago

Out of idle curiosity, what have they changed it to?

Same as before, it was voted for at the last overhaul.

Oh, right. I read as "new since it last ran". As in, within the last few weeks.

The wording was "new coat of paint", not "new livery", but I agree that left some ambiguity.

Is this something Rail200 steam related for the launch of the event in Aug?

I believe Rail200 press stuff. 60007 I believe for the LSL side of it, not sure on the WCR but would have thought it would make sense for it to be one of the locos that’s not air brake fitted.
