    Hmm!

Little to glean from RTT yet apart from daily weekday entries from 7th to 17th between Coleham & Sutton Bridge Jct plus a 'Q' path that looks to be for a turning move.

    https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/se...7/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt&toc=WR

and then 17th / 18th (Th and Fri) a return path to Carnforth (TOC = ZZ currently)

It'll be in an engineering possession overnight so it'll only show the entry and exit from the site.

Well as 45407's move on Wednesday was "cancelled" but then did run, Oswald missed out. I had been planning to go to Church and Oswaldtwistle station, just for old times sake. Luckily a friend, and also a former Oswaldtwistle resident, was there to capture the moment - including a brief stop in the station. If only I'd been there! It brought back plenty of happy memories from the late 1950s and early 60s, always steam and always sunny (well maybe not the sunny bit).

There are a couple of LSL paths appeared on RTT for Thursday - morning & afternoon Crewe to Chester (ret). Should be a nice day for it.

Unusual to go straight out onto mainline without test running on a preserved line first?

As far as I’m aware it’s had very little done to the bottom end so they feel mechanically it will be okay. Also I am told it’s on a bit of tight schedule to appear at the helm of a certain posh train over Easter

I assume you mean the one where the 08 is moving it around. You do not need Facebook access it, just Google LSL Facebook and click on the X on the login pop up. Did not even do the usual kick you out after about 45 seconds for non account holders.

It would appear that the test run today is actually the class 121 bubble car, NOT Nunney Castle as had been theorised.

I believe a paperwork issue has stopped Nunny going is what I’m told.
