A small highlights video of the GB, with a shot from each of day 2-9. Day 8 gets two shots to cover both locos. Added 37403 on an ECS move too.

I’ll get round to the full video at some point, but it will be near enough 40 minutes!

A few shots from me of four days of the GB.

I do hope all those travelling enjoyed the trip and weren't too disheartened by loco failures or fire risk measures.

Random after thought - Was this Clan Line’s first participation in a Great Britain? Can’t remember it doing another?

It was hard work to get it ready with just one day to prepare it after working the Belmond on the Thursday. The engine never goes out without being in pristine condition.

Yes. Would have taken part in 2020 before Covid-19 intervened.

Pleased to see that GBXVII got back ok after its marathon round Britain tour.

It's a sign of the times that previous GBs have often run courtesy of many of the West Coast steam fleet whereas in 2025 they were mostly conspicuous by their absence. we all know why; it's just odd.

    Not always the case

My first which was GB3 featured
    5029 Nunney Castle

    46201 Princess Elizabeth
    70013 Oliver Cromwell
    45407

A few photos documenting the passage of 45212 through Suffolk on the final day last Sunday. First steam on the East Suffolk Line for about a decade I think?
