    As much as I am glad (I assume) that the owners and maybe the Bluebell got some money out of this, is there not another mainline approved Bulleid that could of ambled down to Southall and just popped up to the event when required?

    It's probably a lot cheaper to haul something from EG to Southall than it is to steam something and run it down from (e.g.) Carnforth (I'm guessing anyway), probably not an operational Bulleid closer to London than 34059 (other than 35028), although it's probably a close run thing with 35005
