Linda and Blanche returning from Caernarfon now have Castell Caernarfon on the front, possibly only as far as Rhyd Ddu.

According to Facebook, the park and ride Routemaster bus has been diverted to retrieve passengers from a train stranded at Blaenau.

Feeling for all the staff in FR control at the moment.
Hopefully some of the forecast rain does actually appear tomorrow!

EDIT: Paul just beat me to it!

134 ran through to Beddgelert in the end. K1 has 130 for company on the connecting train which was luckily held for us.

At 3 pm a steam train left Tan-y-Bwlch for Bleaneu Ffestiniog and at 3:20 pm Merddin Emrys arrived Tan-y-Bwlch from Porthmadog.

I've been told that the current plan is Lyd replaces Welsh Pony on its FR trips. Taliesin does Welsh Pony's WHR trip.

James Spooner does the 1040 and 1905 solo.

Let's see how that plans out.

And didn’t make, 10:05 gone whilst we’re still at Minffordd, not sure how the timetable has fallen apart already.

Just asked, apparently left about 10.20, so only missed by about 5 minutes, but now any chance of doing Caernarfon now gone. Staff member said there was zero chance of connection happening! All a bit of a shambles already to be honest and as you say, no real explanation as to why it's fallen apart and staff at Porthmadog already looking confused!
Time to formulate a Plan B..

Timetable now nearly an hour down, still plenty of confusion at Port! Round 2 of attempting a trip on the WHR to hopefully link with 134 back to Porthmadog.
Bit of rain has hopefully reduced fire risk, most trains now running unassisted.

Unless plan has changed, I thought 134 was coming off at Beddgelert and working light to Port.

From what I can tell, the departures from Port are as follows

1310 left late with Prince on the rear
1340 just left an hour late
    1430 is cancelled
1500 is double headed with Vale of Ffestiniog
1530 is now Lyd with set W

They are left Porthmadog only 5 minutes late.

Linda and Blanche are still at Bleaneu Ffestiniog.

Edit: they left nearly a hour late.

    Latest update I've been given
1630 Porthmadog to Tan-y-Bwlch is now James Spooner
1905 Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog is David Lloyd George

Is it still Taliesin to Beddgelert this evening in place of Prince?

Taliesin was connected to the set when I left behind James Spooner.

Apparently security at Boston Lodge were denying access to the bottom yard (including stalls and exhibits) to anyone with any kind of walking stick!

Can't help thinking that will exclude about 50% of the FR's customers, including my (now rather miffed) in-laws!
