The light engine diesel move this morning from Tyseley to the KWVR was cancelled. ''This service was cancelled due to a request by the train operator''.

Info from a mate working at the Worth Valley says it’s now going tomorrow as both diesel and steamer failed (latter’s exhaust injector went pop)

Perhaps you should have asked the support crew at Keighley for the real reason we've postponed the move until tomorrow??

That’s what I was told was from a mate whom had the ‘info’ from further up the line, happy to be proved otherwise and obliged

A touch too warm today, we'll be leaving tomorrow with the 37 due to the current fire risk. We've spent today bringing the Jubilee up to our usual standard.

Hang on a sec, I don’t think anyone’s trying to stir the pot here, if you know why why not just say so? Posts like this do make me realise why I CBA to contribute any more on here, it also makes me want to consider my contributions to the likes of the BLS.
Could be rather interesting next time you put the begging bowl out…

To be fair to Matt there is a valid point made . given how many heritage organisations appeal for money , goodwill costs little but is all too easily lost .

Yes but, look at it from the point of view of the dedicated loco owners. Reading spurious declarations of what is wrong with their pride and joy can be soul destroying.

It can but equally a simple correction if something was inaccurate wouldn't have been remiss. The movement can at times treat is greatest supporters not as adults

Meanwhile, back to Bahamas. The loco is now well on it's way to Tyseley. [BJ]
