SSE is next week (27th). 45212 should have been reunited with her tender by then, though depends how soon before she's despatched back to Southall - I would guess for The Royal Duchy on 31/08.

Probably Tangmere, as 45212's tender only moving Bury-10A on Monday.

I believe Tangmere is down for this with diesel on the back.

Next Wednesday sees the final of the three south route trains.
The first two didn't run, so whats the odds this one will run and with steam as the pilot?

Looks like there has been a change to the return times tomorrow according to rtt.
No water stop after Milford loop all the way to Lancaster?
Can only assume Tangmere coming off at Milford and diesel taking over?
Hopefully I have jumped to the wrong conclusion, we will see.

The timings are still showing the 20 minute water stop at Brighouse (19:10 - 19:30).

Yes on the working timetable column.
Look in the rtt column, now showing 1 minute at Brighouse according to that, arrive 19.03 and depart 19.04, is this an issue with rtt as if so I have never seen it be so far adrift from each other.

Looking at RTT this morning, it looks like Tangmere is coming off at Holgate loop and heading back to 10A from there, via Hellifield.

The stop at Holgate and the removal of the stop at Milford loop has happened overnight.
Was rather hoping to photograph it this evening. Can only guess this is due to finding somewhere to take water on the return journey, the last Cotton Mill express took water at Sowerby Bridge station back in February 2020 and the timetable no longer allows a train to sit there even for a splash and dash.
    See what this morning brings.

RTT now shows SSE as being 95mph from York Holgate sidings with a 60mph move from there to Carnforth via Hellifield

Didn’t they use the goods loop at Horbury just before Healey Mills yard for watering?

The RTT column showing just a couple of minutes was the computer guesstimating the stop, not the actual booked stop time. It does this sometimes, mainly when the computer doesn’t understand it has an extended stop. Anyway, looks to be irrelevant now as you’ve spotted the move back from Holgate - thanks for highlighting.

Saphos have used Horbury loop for watering, but most if not all go the bottom road to Rochdale not over Copy Pit.
For example White Rose 25th September and 2nd October.
