    I can't see a thread for this tour, or for UK Railtours in general, which surprises me (if I am overlooking something obvious please tell me!) - but it is being reported that the tour was cancelled owing to the ECS incurring severe wheel flats en route to operate the tour! I can't recall such an event before and it seems pretty grim that this can happen, before autumn has really started, yet while RHTTs have already been running quite widely. Of course, leaf fall may be nothing to do with the flats, but a poor show nonetheless.
