Looks like Tangmere and/or 37516 may have come off the back of the train in Carnforth loops and back into Steamtown?

Can confirm that 34067 and 80204 came off at Carnforth on the return. 37516 on the back to Lancaster, then led ECS home direct (not via Preston as booked).

The timings from Carlisle to Hellifield were slack so there was little point is rushing, then sitting at Hellifield waiting for the path to Carnforth.

The immaculate marron coach, no 5239, behind the Support vehicle looks to have both CDL and be non air con . Is this a WCR prototype for future mk1 conversions ? Can anyone proved any info?

Sister to 5229, which has also been CDL-fitted and is currently operating on the Jacobite. This was 5239's first run out in passenger service since CDL fitting earlier this year.

    It's a Mk2a pressure ventilated carriage.

I believe that makes a total of 5 MK2 A-C coaches now fitted? 3 completed this year, 2 already done?

In the case of the one behind 34067 yesterday it was with 45212 on its ill-fated run to Scotland and never made it up there.

I think it is pressure ventilated rather than air conditioned therefore has opening top lights so you can hear the diesel pushing at the rear:)

Yes I meant A to C as in the MK2 A-C early coaches, not A/C as in air con
