    I did suggest that to some of 6024's support crew when I bumped into them at German plandampf. German locos have cast plates as well, so the fixing holes are already there in the cab side! Assuming it would be a 38, being a 4-6-0, then it could be 38 6024-4...

    There is a 5Z path in on the 8th October with a service stop at Coton hill . Is this likely to convert into a passenger path ?

    This is the correct pathing and times for the Dukes loaded test runs, 7th, 8th (members train) and 9th October.

    If all goes to plan we will be hauling the Chairmans train to Carlisle on 10th and return light engine on 11th.
