a very windy some areas nearly having 100mph winds today on the border city express and very wet up in the dales passing over Ais Gill summit 10 mins late and made it on time in to Carlisle,
Despite some of the West coast line sustaining O.L.E. damage cancelling some trains north of carlisle today and vice southbound toward preston. Its nice ride out for passengers with 34067 Tangmere today I joined the train at Bradford Forster square in coach H. So far so good despite a avanti been 60 mins late to Edinburgh.

The angular lines of the Bulleid and the Mill make that a very nice photo. Something of Lowry about it.
