34092 doesn’t really fit the North West /LMS theme and 34081 not operational since Legends of steam 2 .

 

whilst currently out of traffic, ‘81 did see use after Legends.

 

47298 will appear in LMS as 7138....

Would I be correct in saying everything will face Rawtenstall with the exception of 1969?

Pictures have appeared on Facebook showing Gothenburg (MSC 32) repainted in grey for this event. Does anyone know whether she will keep this livery after the gala?

Some footage of Saturday's proceedings, sadly couldn't stick around for the Night Mail runs in the evening, but had a wonderful day nevertheless, particularly with a whole host of LMS liveried locos together!

 

Some of my pics of 46441 my 2nd Ivatt ive rode behind 2mt I've seen and the stanier mogul 13968 I went on double headed with 12345 from Bury and ret on Friday 17 Oct and also had 46441 and 11456 double headed to Heywood with 11456 and the ivatt 2mt most trains were running on time a enjoyable day out.

Bold and bright LMS lettering and numbers, proved that black doesn't have to be BR boring...No 20 looked great on Fridays vintage set (before the L&Y Saloon failed)...and No 32's transformation was a treat (thanks to those responsible). Despite the gloom, here's my effort at a record of a very long and enjoyable weekend.
