Ive read this but unless im mistaken it doesnt mention whats happening on the railway it jus talks about the beer festival itself? And when you go to timetable page it just says special event?

It clearly states "normal timetables apply for this event", however I'll grant you that the timetable page has the dates shaded red for "special event" rather than whichever timetable colour is applicable. Unless someone knows differently I would assume the 'high season' timetable i.e. (ex-Loughborough times) 9.45 DMU, 10.15 steam, 11.15 steam, 12.15 diesel, 1.15 steam, 2.15 steam, 3.15 steam, 4.45 steam. As for which engines - expect two steam and one diesel from whatever is available.

As it isn't entirely clear I'll drop the webmaster an email to ask him to clarify.

    It'll be a choice of 30777 Sir Lamiel 42085, or 8F 48305

OK, I presume 1744, 70013 and 78019 are still on their travels? What about 63601?

78019 is still at Llangollen Railway or at the Embsay Bolton Abbey Railway
1744 will be at the SVR.
70013 is still on mainline duties and 63601 i was told by shed staff is on limited steamings.

63601 can't be that limited, they ran it at the diesel gala of all things!
