Sunday probably for me Martin. I had hoped to be on the final Torbay Express but an 06:00 start and an after midnight return home is making me think twice. I may yet do the main line though.

Sorry for the really dumb question, but is facing North being smokebox first out of Kidderminster of Bridgnorth?

Maybe it has something to do with how they arrive on the low loader!`

I suggest at the dead of night the SVR turn all the engines give all you photographers a panic attack the next day!

    Panic not!

Was good to the see the pig climbing Eardington Bank on the last train of the day. A very "clean exhaust", I hope it'll be clagging a bit more at the weekend!

Looking forward to the event for sure, will probably be there 2 of the 3 days.

I have, at this moment arrived in Bridgnorth and using the free internet access that the B&B offers. And looking forward to 3 full-fun days on the SVR.

    Hi Guys,

Today has been very good in both train operation & the weather. Only 1 minor problem to report is that 4936 'Kinlet Hall' had to come off it's train at Bewdley due to injector problems. The support crew of 4936 were quickly called to the loco and as I speak, this is now being sorted in order to get 4936 available tomorrow and Sunday.

3 photos from me today involving the "Flying Pig", the double-heading Ivatts and 1744.

    Miss Piggie on Sunday?

I had a good time at the gala today but the WTT makes no mention of 43106 for Sunday; the loco doesn't seem to be running. Is this true or is it a mistake? If it is true then I won't bother with the journey; 120 miles each way and the star of the show is a no-show!

    Regards

Thanks for that, but I'm still confused as '431 + 412' was running today and appeared to be the two Class 2 Ivatts. Never mind, I'll be there Sunday.

    VIDEO: SVR Autumn Gala

I have uploaded a video of Friday's action at the SVR's Autumn Steam Gala to YouTube. To my acute irritation it doesn't include any footage of the N2 because on the only occasion it came into view I made a mess of the footage! Never mind, the rest is fine, and I'll have to do better tomorrow. I hope everyone enjoys it.
