She passed through Bingley at 21:15. There looks like there's still a block out on the Down, so I would hazard a guess that they'll sort out the overheads under an isolation tonight.

    Hey chaps,

Contact from the guys on board inform me that it has been an interesting day to say the least and the challenges that have have cropped up have been dealt with accordingly. The weather in the north west has caused service trains on Leeds - North West area's to be cancelled but there are no issues with tomorrows train so it will be running! I'm sure further updates will follow.....

There is a picture of Tornado on Ribblehead viaduct and a little article on page 12 of today's Observer about yesterdays run. Did she make it into any of the other papers?

Great clip Ralph - got the hairs on my neck going - nearly trashed the speakers on my laptop too! Seemed to be doing about 40mph from counting the wheel revs?

    Thanks Sheff....
I have just looked at 4 clips from the same place and taken the time between the two bridges that the line crosses.
Scots Guardsman with 11 on took 40 seconds.
Leander with 10 took 39 seconds.
Tornado with 13 on took 37 seconds.
    6201 with 11 on took 32 seconds.

    Draw your own conclusions...

Just noticed that on the BBC News site, todays "England's Big Picture" is Tornado at Ribblehead. You just can't derail their PR machine!

B-T-W any news as to what the problem was on yesterday's run?
