Thanks to Matt & Martin for putting on another great day. There would have been a couple of perfect shots but Matt's hair is sticking up in front of them both ;-)
Seriously though it was another tremendous charter. Kinlet looking the business on the GWR rake (well done to the brasso team).

A special thanks to all the crew involved and those who brought the ladders to help us get about. Mr Snow... your tripod is a trip hazard although Mr Martin seemed to enjoy fondling it for you ;-)

Dave & Kev, wonderful skills from the footplace again thanks. The station run throughs in particular were beautiful... hope you guys like the above pic and thanks again for great day.

I'd like to add my thanks to Matt and Martin for arranging another good day at the Valley and also to Kev and Dave on the footplate for their excellent work.
My photos of the day can be seen on my fotopic site.
(Spot the guy at Bridgnorth performing a rotten job that is such a necessity. What a star!)

    Cheers,

    Paul

Hi Andrew - were you in a black woolly hat? It's always nice to put a name to face.

Some really nice shots there, Andy. The panning shot is class, but I particularly liked the one passing Bewdley South, just showing the Stourport Inner Home signal, instead of the Kidderminster Inner Home Bracket that everyone photographs. As a point of interest, it used to be quite a bit higher, but the base rotted and I took it out with the 6-ton steam crane quite a few years ago, so the S&T could saw the rotten base off, then we re-planted it the same day. I also did the Outer Home a hundred yards or so behind you. The pole goes right down the side of Sandbourne viaduct and I was being guided by somone standing on the viaduct and looking over the side to see what was happening 60 feet below.
