Instead of bleating on a forum where those accused may or may not have a presence have you considered contacting them directly ????

Also perhaps we should be thankful that these individuals at least make these collections available to the railway press and to buy copies . Some priceless collections haven't been seen in years either due to lack of resource or personal choice

I for one would like to see more of T E Williams shots especially as much of it is around the Midlands and Stratford on Avon . Whilst it is safe at the NRM and i appreciate there are resource issues, there are bodies of work that really do deserve to be seen

Bredbury Junction (post no.13) speaks highly of a 2008 publication, which is titled 'Steam - The Grand Finale'. I went ahead and bought it - a good move! It is full of fascinating detail about those distant days when nearly all of us thought that steam would never run again on the main line, apart from Flying Scotsman for a few years. As a 17 year old office boy on £6 a week and living in far off Plymouth, I only managed a couple of trips, but oh, so glad I did it!

The advice is - go to that website and buy one while they still have any stock. No, I'm not on commission!

    Martin,
You do realise that you've suggested a sensible course of action. This would be far too revolutionary for the "bleaters" on this forum. They much prefer to rant and rave on here where the subjects of their rants are least likely to bear witness.
