    Some nice cl. 52 roaring - always a winner! Crews playing to the crowds is nice to see but unfortunately you seem to have had the lovely weather we also had for the Plandampf held at the same time.

    As steam engines in the UK hardly ever (with the exception of Torr open day and a few others ) haul heavy freights you don't get the pure effort in getting a heavy load moving. That is where European preservation wins over UK. Pure magic - lovely video.

    There are some videos on Youtube of the 2,500t freight leaving Immelborn during the recent Plandampf. Perhaps even more effort but no sunshine!
