Just posted the first two part's of this film covering the the first day of the War weekend Gala, I opted to avoid the war theme and go with the Autumn theme.

    Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd7yJdD0zjM

Second days footage will be release after I have released the second days footage on GCR autumn Gala.

Excellent, wonderful colours and some great vantage points.

The Whitby evening departure is terrific. [IMG]

Would that be the Wizard/Bridge Benefit Sunday perchance? Lots of very wet staff and no doubt likewise passengers. One young lady from a local TV channel got to see more than she bargined for when taken into the Control Office to e-mail her report only to find one of the guards in there temporarily parted from his trousers whilst they dried out on a radiator!

Excellent stuff on the videos - I was guard of the Whitby train, so always good to see a train that you were working - and an impressive shot!

Yep - got soaked then too - heaviest rain of the day was while 76079 was running round at Goathland loop and guess who had operate the ground frame!

Drying out on the footplate seemed a good idea until by BR waterproof great coat looked set to burst into flames before my trousers were dry!

What a great scene in Part 3 from around 8.10.

Looking down the valley with the birds singing in the background, the early morning sun casting long shadows, the Autumn colours and then an A4 chime sounds in the distance, magic.
