Looking at the GWSR 2010 Timetable, I see that "Hogwarts Castle" will be visiting again during the October Half Term Week.

Amazed though, that it will not be running every day - i.e. not on Monday and Friday. Since the loco will be in steam on Sunday and Thursday, the costs of running on Monday and Friday must be reasonable (even allowing for steaming fees) - seems mad to me to miss two days out in that week.

Appreciate that families can be diverted to the other days, but if trains are packed, they may not come back again - equally general public are not good at reading timetables, and if local publicity spreads the word of the engine's presence (as I am sure it will) they may just turn up and expect a train on any day of the week

yeah one paper TT arrived with the magazine this week, and I picked up a couple more copies today when I had a ride behind 5619 and attended the 2807 AGM at Winchcombe. I like to keep one TT in the car and one in my camera bag. as well as one at home - sometimes it's quicker to look at paper (if it is to hand) than the website lol

The website will be updated over the next couple of weeks with what details I have of the 2010 events.
