    Thinking of popping over to Toddington this Saturday. 5619 is rostered - but anyone know which direction she is currently facing?

    No I do not currently volunteer
    5619 was facing south (from Toddington to Cheltenham) when it pulled our train last Saturday - 21 November so I presume it will be the same this weekend. A very smart and, I would imagine, useful locomotive. Not quite as elegant as a large "Prairie" tank to me but a good loco for heritage railways just the same.

    Thanks for the info. Agree about the look of the 0-6-2Ts - always appear to me as though they're tripping over their feet when running forwards - just don't look quite balanced. Useful powerful locos though.

    Good powerful effective locos - I'm really glad 5619 is on the GWSR.

    I'm still playing with last Saturday's pics in Photoshop to try and get something decent to upload - it was a very dark wet day! I enjoyed the ride though and the 2807 AGM - hope my name is legible this year!!
