    My pictures here approaching Long Preston & leaving Hellifield

    Seemed to have the RH steam cock open- I believe a block failure of the signals between settle junction & long Preston started the lateness problem and then waiting at Hellifield to let a service train go first added to the problem.

    Dont you just hate it when that happens, sometimes I have done sound recordings and you get her blasting away towards you then it all goes quiet, always thought I had a big sign on me head saying "Shut off now" or i was standing on a PW sign!!!!!
