    OK folks, Saturday 19th SHOULD see 4 steam workings on the main line;
    60007 KX - Newcastle,
    60019 KX - Norwich,
    35028 Victoria - Guildford circular and
    46201 Brum - Chester circular.

    Given today's snow and frost, any cancellations yet?

    As the Bittern tour is routed via Cambridge, not Ipswich, it should run. Provided there's no ice storm to bring down overhead lines tonight, the main threat might be 3rd-rail electrics failing in the path of 35028.

    I look forward to some great photos of steam clouds over snowfields.

    Cambridge was shut last night due to frozen points. Well, snow between the pointblades meaning the signaller couldn't get full route detection.

    New General Chat page, How much snow on your line thread.
    Spamcan81 reckons the pair of A4s looked good passing snowy countryside, but I dunno 'bout the other two. Anyone got the gen please?

    All have their own threads under "What's Going On" and yes, all ran.

    Apologies if this question has already been answered on another thread:-

    When was the last time (before Saturday 19th December 2009!) that two A4's departed Kings Cross on the same day?
