For anyone that did brave the cold and snow that we have had in Surrey and Sussex over the last 36 hours they would have been able to take advantage of the good sunlight and codl air for plenty of Clag. Clan Line was three minutes early into Shalford and we were out and about again a few minutes later for the climb towards Gomshall:

Putting on a suitably volcanic display at Gomshall.

I thought that was Mayford. I may be wrong. Fantastic photograph though.

I started the day with Clan Line powering under the footbridge I was standing on just after Chertsey station. I thought that had to be the clip of the day but then it was a quick dash over to Albury.

Clan Line, the VSOE, sunshine and a couple of inches of snow .....very nice and well worth the 242 miles of travel to see it. Thanks to all concerned. <BJ>

    A fantastic photograph.

I noticed on the way home, just a few miles to the north of the railway, that there was very little snow. We were very fortunate today. <BJ>
