Any chance that in 2010 you will stop spamming this site and all the yahoo groups with your rubbish pictures and messages?

As Clement Attlee said to one of his Cabinet:

"A period of silence from you would be most welcome"

Can we not decended in to rudeness?

The image called scan1880 looks like the NRM's Western which I belive was at the Paigton & Dartmouth Railway in the 1990's. I could be wrong...

I have to say, that brought a smile to my face :)
and whilst I don't agree with the way he expressed it, I do agree with the sentiments of MichaelH that a bit more thought and focus by Neil before posting so many links on so many sites would I am sure be appreciated by quite a few of us.

I'm going on my ability to hopefully decipher numbers/letters here so I apologise if any are wrong. A list of names/numbers can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_52#Names_and_numbers

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638326.html is D1031 Western Rifleman. Couldn't give you a location though I'm afraid, though could be Paddington.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638337.html nearest the camera is D1012 Western Firebrand. Again, no idea on location.

    http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638351.html is D1006 Western Stalwart.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638352.html just *might* be D1036 Western Emperor.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638354.html is clearly D1042 Western Princess.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638397.html could be either D1013 Western Ranger or D1015 Western Champion. A friend of mine reckons D1013 on account of the shorter nameplate.

    http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638400.html is D1039 Western King.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638431.html looks like D1007 Western Talisman.

http://dieselhydraulics.photos.gb.com/p62638444.html is possibly D1024 Western Huntsman.

A lot of the pictures are too obscure or from the wrong angle, without details of location, date or working.

Hope this helps all the same.

    Dom

The second one down (D1012) is at Reading, between platforms 8 & 9.

The pictures are of good quality. The fact that neil only posts to plug his website and request timings at Deighton is the bit that cheeses most people off.

That coupled to the facts that its the same post on every forum with no attempt to target the audience and the links to each photo rather than 1 to the gallery
