    From the website today.

    "With such a quantity of snow falling and with the advent of ice, we need to perform a number of safety related tasks which we are unable to undertake with staff unavailable. We therefore regret to announce that we will NOT be running any train services this weekend"

    They also indicated that the phone service will probably only be fully operational from next Monday 11th.

    Well, the West Somerset Railway were not due to run anyway - snow or no snow.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    On the WSR they suspended a PW job at Crowcombe and left the PW train with a Class 25 on it parked in the platform as the weather was that bad on Wednesday.
