One for 37 fans

Rather Early yet but the MNR is holding a major 37 event in September. With first usage of the loop and possible mainline running

Or by having several preserved lines and NR all playing ball, (and if funding for transport was available) we could go for a unique photo opportunity with a line up of clases 07 GCR, 17 C&PRR, 27 GCR, 37 MNR, 47 MNR, 57 main line operator of your choice, 67 DBS, 77 MRC, 87 Crewe Heritage Centre and 97 NR.

Meanwhile, this 37 event certainly looks like it'll be an interesting day out!

 

Should be a great event,pity you wont be able to hear them due to screaming children in every window!

 

With the loop in place there should be hourly departures from each end of the line instead of 2 hours which will be a vast improvement. It also means steams galas will be in the pipeline!
I hope to go to the spring diesel gala in March (my first diesel gala) as I want to test out my new camera. I'm not particularly interested in the motive power but for those who are
26 007, 45 133, 46 045 and a visiting mainline Sulzer locomotive are set to attend.
