A little query - can anybody tell me if any examples of the ALCO 231 class 4-6-2 locomotives built for use in Spain (as depicted here and here) managed to escape the scrap? I've done a bit of googling but there's nothing particularly helpful to be found...

Can only find reference to 231-2006 (Babcock & Wilcox built) - not the same type?

Saggin' Dragon: Nope, not as nice to look at but still an interesting find!

Spamcan: Thanks! I've sent a PM his way.
