    Well done Bryan.
It's good to see the PW wagons getting some TLC. A great job you guys are doing. Is the Macaw now fully restored?

Interesting to see that. I own one of these on the Severn Valley and it has been a continuous process to try and keep it operational. Fortunately for me, the Bewdley C&W foreman is my fireman and friend and has taken an interest. We've just had the stove and flue re-furbed and it's in Bewdley yard over the winter for some TLC. The stove is a standard B. R. one, but needs a new grate. The current one is a piece of boiler plate with holes drilled in! You would'nt happen to know if there are any around, would you?

    Regards,

    John

Macaw nearly complete, just awaiting stanchions replacing / fabricating and new bolsters making from timbers. Check our website for photo taken the other month.

Don't know anything about availability of spare stoves but we have had to do repair work on the flue as described.

I didn't think this request warranted a new thread but it is vaguely related to this one!

I am looking to make contact with any private owners of Shark vehicles, i.e. not owned by the heritage railway itself.

Please PM me or contact christophermoxon8[AT]hotmail.com if you are such a person. Thanks in advance!
