As someone who registered my support for this project on the East Hampshire District Council website, i am delighted that the railway have been sucessful.

The new chalets should help volunteers who have to travel some distance to work on the railway.

Excellent news for the railway. The car park at Ropley is desperately needed. Parking at Alresford is becoming increasingly frustrating on normal service days and for special events (although I now use the field at Ropley when it opens for special events). Alton station car park is just a rip off.
