    Hi Guys
The above was recently noted. It was unnumbered but marked BP. Can anyone help identify this and whether its just a visitor or new resident.
    Cheers

I believe it's Bayer Peacock No.1827 built as a 0-4-2 in1879. The design of the L+Y R Pugs was said to be based on it.

1827's owner has decided to Fast-Track an overhaul of the boiler as a contract job at CVR as Foxfield's manpower is already committed to other projects at the present time. I believe he want's to have it done in time to return to the Tanat Valley Railway later this year, but will get the full gen from him next time I see him.

Oh and by the way p/wayman, just to correct you it's spelt Beyer not Bayer.

0-4-2 Crane Tank 'till around 1947.

Boiler to have initial inspection before owner decides upon the best way forward, she will return to Foxfield at some point.
