    If you think that this was bad then consider the ECML during 4472's Diamond Jubilee runs in 1983 when the track trespass at Newark was so bad that (a) HSTs booked to pass at line speed of 125 mph were forced to a 25 mph crawl and there were reports that HST drivers went into the Kings Cross drivers' room and threw down their HST keys saying that they couldn't cope with the stress of risking a lineside fatality on the return journeys.
