    Hi Guys
I'm having some trouble with an accurate comprehensive wagon listing for the Llangollen. I've had some odd reports over the last few years which just don't add up. If someone involved with the wagons can help please PM me and I'll send a list of what I have there. Any help with getting to the bottom of the outstanding queries will be much appreciated.

As an aside, at the SVR I have 4 Rudds as being here, 972349, 972359, 972416, 972513. There are more apparently. If someone knows the I/d's of the others or how many more I'm missing please let me know.

there are quite a few more rudds at the SVR on loan to us, but for the life of me, I can't tell you the numbers of them. they are still on tops at the moment as far as I am aware, in storage awaiting disposal, as opposed to preserved

Thats interesting Olly. Thanks. If these are not technically preserved and for disposal this leaves very few Rudds that have survived into preservation from what was a large batch of engineers wagons. The underframes are however ex 21t Coal Hoppers and now over 50 years old.
I'd also like to thank Bob who has offered to help me, via PM, with the Llangollen wagons.

That was certainly the situation when they arrived, that may have changed now, although having seen what has happened in the past, it probabbly hasn't (brake van 953153 'Fell off' TOPS for 10 years while stored servicable at the SVR, and since passed into our hands!)
