Stunning pictures Phil. You can see the Tornado effect in the third one with the gallery on the right of the picture!

Thanks very much chaps. I posted that quickly this morning before having to go out so have only now seen some of the other excellent videos and photos from yesterday. Some cracking stuff there in conditions that don't come around too often. I'm just sorry a camcorder problem meant the crossing of the Kent Viaduct went unrecorded. Oh, and nice to meet a fellow Nat. Pres. man up on Arnside Knott, wcmlbls, I believe.

Hi Austin, It was good to meet you too. But I'm sorry that the sound of my camera shutter interfered with your soundtrack. I thought I was standing far enough away...

Not a problem Andrew, strange really that the microphone picked it up as you were slightly behind me and the wind direction should have carried the sound away.

I must say Tornado looks more stunning with those coaches. Looked like a very beautiful trip.

Nice to meet some of you in the gallery at Birkett Common. A very pleasant afternoon. The NE wind wasn't too bad and it did manage to hide some of the menagerie of coaching stock in use.
First time I've managed to phot the S&C in decent weather, hope its not the last.
I'll put my efforts up when I finally get them downloaded to the PC
