Got a shot of her near Knightcote on her run down to Southall this morning!

She looked a bit grubby. Guess the support guys will soon sort that out ready for Friday!
    All the Best......

Had a letter arrive from Steam Dreams yesterday regarding this run. Please note due to gauging issues the return trip is now terminating at CLAPHAM JCT. instead of Waterloo so if you were going to see her arrive at Waterloo I wouldn't bother.

A further update. The SD website says 30777 will be hauling a load of 12 so she should be making plenty of noise..............or will that dreaded WCR Cl 37 be coming along too?

The climb of Hatton will be a bit of a slog, then, and starting from Stratford will be very hard work!

Comments as per The-Mighty-Kings at Tilehurst just to add it was running as 30453 King Arthur. Hope to upload video later but bowled by an up turbo which messed the video up a bit.
Noticed that the Mk1 & Pullman coaches it brought from Tyseley were marshalled in the Green Train, for strengthening purposes?
Here is the video which as I said got messed up a bit, but left it running to hear it accelerate away.

Not really suprising given a class 5 on load 12 ans Stratford is a notoriously tricky start, could see the black smoke in the distance, here's a phot from Bishopton Bank: http://david1984.fotopic.net/p64425565.html

By the way, David, how do you get to that location? Do you just walk down the canal towpath from next to Wilmcote manor? Have never visited but would like to for the Shakespeares in the summer.

    Nice clip.
Is it my imagination or was there no support coach?
