Having seen Lyd when I did my last turn at Boston Lodge (after a WHR trackgang week) Lyd certainly looked superb and have no doubt it will be anything but that when it enters service when it's ready. Regarding the NG 15 it will certainly offer something different when it eventually is ready. Quite keen to see how 87 and 138 look when their back at the end of the month.

    Regards
    Duncan

Lyd does look very good with an open back cab as you can tell by viewing the latest photos of it on the Ffestiniog Railway Society website www.ffestiniograilway.org.uk , also shows one of the sandboxes in place.

Lyd certainly seems to changed a fair bit since I was there a few months back. Glad to see all the progress with Lyd.

I was going to post a couple of pix from this morning, but I appear to have an attachment limit so small it's not worth the effort.

As well as could be expected probably...

A combination of the weather and slight timetable slippage caused a little glitch with the late afternoon/early evening runs to Tan-y-Bwlch, but other than that everything seemed to go 'swimmingly'...

This will bring a smile to your face, no doubt...

...and I claim the prize for being the first to post a picture for you..!
