technically I don't think any of the surviving 4F's were ever Norfolk based , although examples did work on the M&GN

I'd also add the N7 , certainly East Anglia , as well as the E4 (not steaming) and J69 (also not steaming)

Would 61264 have ever wandered across the border?

61264 was a Parkeston loco for many years. I would have thought that it would have ventured into Norfolk at some time.

Peckett 2000 whilst an Ipswich engine during its sugar career has worked in Norfolk recently.

Green Arrow was restored at Norwich shed by Bill Harvey in the 1970s.

Also doesn't Avonside 1945 of 1926 still survive? Ex BSC Kings Lynn and was at the Nene Valley.

I'm not sure about 1945. The component pieces of it were at the Elsecar Railway when I visited in 2008. The suggestion was that the engine would become a donor to speed up restoration of AE1917, however the parts were considered by some only fit for the scrap bin. I note it still does not appear on the stock list so who knows what fate may have occured....

No.1539 'Derek Crouch', (formerly named 'Hayle' and then 'Wissington Loco') also at the NVR. It was used on the construction of Wissington Sugar Beet Factory, and then used on the Wissington Light Railway until about 1955.
