We booked on the RTC trip with 30777/70013 last week and wondered what kind of service will be running on the railway. The website only says it will be a special timetable. Will the Bulleid's be in service?

I can tell you that the arrival of the tour, movement of the ECS from and back to Swanage, followed by the tour departure causes four significant interruptions in our normal 40 minute service. However, you should still have time for one round trip.
I'm sure there is a 'Master Plan' - as to rostered locos - however, the possibility of problems occuring to locos over the next 18 days might mean Plan B, etc. Hope details are revealed a little nearer the time.

I believe there are a few seats left in each class for the 31st May.

Many thanks for the info Peter. I will keep checking the SR site for updates.

The proposed working engine(s) list is shown on the Home page normally on the right hand side underneath the green "Railway Shop" logo: http://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/index.htm
