44871 is coming south on Friday. Doubt if 46115 would be used on anything in the south so that leaves 34067 but I don't think it's ready.

When 5972 Olton Hall has moved is has quite often used the 5Z59 headcode which is the headcode of Thursday run.

Somewhere I read that West Coast dont operate Duke of Gloucester. DBS are the operators. I stand corrected if I'm wrong.

Didn't realise 60163 was already down there so assumed it was a possability. Also i thought 60163 had used the WCML last year?

60163 has never been operated under the WCRC safety case to my knowledge. Don't get confused with WCML, which is just an accronym for a route :)

5972 was the only engine in steam at Carnforth today and my source is 99.9% reliable that this is the loco moving on thursday.

Very worrying this. I hope it doesn't come too far South, but I have started building defences locally to stop it getting into Kent.

For next weeks Kentish Belle I'd settle for a Black 5 if I have to. But please not something that, let alone not having a number starting with a 3, doesn't even have 5 digits in it's number. (wink).

I will confess to having timed one of those four digit number machines once. In March 1967 I went all the way to Shrewsbury to time 34079. But instead of 141 Squadron some strange machine with the first number missing turned up. I was on therapy for months afterwards.
